Recently, Elkem Xinghuo Silicones won the honorary title of Jiangxi Province Advanced Export Enterprise for its excellent performance in open economy in the 2017-2019 commendation of Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government.

From January to September 2020, the sales of exported products increased by 38.58% year-on-year,  13.47% and 6.84% in the Asia-Pacific region and Europe respectively, and 88.27% and 239.28% in Latin America and North America respectively; and the export turnover grew by 11.49% year-on-year, 48.14% in Latin America and 111.81% in North America.
 

Amid the epidemic this year, the demand of the overseas silicone industry remains sluggish, especially in the personal care and textile industries. In countries severely affected by the epidemic, customers have phased out production or maintain low-load operation, with the overall demand shrinking significantly. Elkem Xinghuo Silicones’ marketing team has leveraged the global marketing network, conducted real-time research and judgment of global market trends, and adopted a science-based targeted marketing strategy. The commercial team has worked together to create new sales opportunities and reduce the negative impact of the epidemic on the demand side. Among them, the Core Fluid Division has built a well-equipped export platform and implemented two major support projects in America and Europe, so that goods can reach customers’ locations in advance and be delivered in the shortest possible time. This has played a pivotal and positive role in driving its business in Europe and the United States.
     

In addition, the construction, textile, and silicone rubber segments have all achieved a surge in their sales growth by taking advantage of new opportunities and volume-driven price (VDP) projects in key Asia-Pacific regions including the ROK, India, and Southeast Asia.
