On November 16 and 17, Chairman Ning Gaoning visited Yuan Jiajun, secretary of Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Congress, Zheng Shanjie, vice secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and governor of Zhejiang Province, and Feng Fei, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and executive vice governor of Zhejiang Province to deepen the all-round practical cooperation between ChemChina, Sinochem and Zhejiang Province. They had in-depth discussions on the investment and development of the two companies in Zhejiang, and signed a strategic cooperation agreement between Sinochem, ChemChina and Zhejiang Provincial Government.

Mr. Ning also met with Hu Haifeng, Party secretary of Lishui city, Zhejiang province, to discuss the future cooperation between the two companies and the city.

Before the signing, Ning held a meeting with Zheng Shanjie for in-depth discussions on the investment and development of the two companies in Zhejiang and better strategic cooperation with Zhejiang Province. Zheng Shanjie expressed his gratitude to ChemChina and Sinochem for their long-term contributions to the economic and social development of Zhejiang Province. He said that the two companies have a strong presence in Zhejiang Province, engaging themselves in a variety of fields. After the meeting, ChemChina, Sinochem and Zhejiang Provincial Government signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. Zheng Shanjie and Ning Gaoning witnessed the signing of the agreement. Yang Shihao, deputy general manager of Sinochem, and Feng Fei, executive vice governor of Zhejiang province, signed the agreement on behalf of the three parties. Under the agreement, all parties will thoroughly implement the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee. According to the principle of “government-enterprise interaction, market operation, benefits for all, and common development,” they will give full play to their advantages to focus on key areas such as energy, new energy, new materials, urban operation, modern finance, modern agriculture, environmental protection and business consulting.
