Beijing Eastern Garden International Convention Center (EGICC) is located in Shunyi District, Beijing, adjacent to the Olympic Aquatic Centre of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. With its comfortable environment and characteristic architecture, EGICC strengthened the position as a conference organizer while expanding recreation and business training. It enjoys high prestige among suburb hotels in Beijing. In 2006, EGICC completed its first large-scale redecoration, which further emphasizes its conference function and improve its environment and service qualities.
Beijing Eastern Garden International Convention Center, established on July 14, 1997, (hereafter referred as “EGICC”) is a fully-owned subsidiary company of Sinochem Corporation.
EGICC is located in Shunyi District of Beijing. It is 38 km away from Sanyuan Bridge and takes 25 minutes from there to the Capital Airport by bus. To the west, there is Chaobai Rive; to the south, it is Shunyi Olympic Rowing-Canoeing Park and a golf course with international standard; to the north is Jinshan Mountain, which is an ideal place for conference, academic forum, business fair, professional training, and holiday resort.
EGICC covers an area of 260,000 m2, and the total architectural area is 57,600 m2. There are a majestic main building, combined with exotic European and American style guest rooms and villas, totaling 292 guest rooms and 8 villas.
As a contract hotel of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, EGICC was conducted large-scaled redecoration in 2006 in order to meet different demands and better complete the service works of 2008 Olympic Games. This decoration made the guest rooms more comfortable, improved dinning environment, enhanced the conference functions, and also beautified the landscape.
The main building is divided into different function areas in terms of conference, food and beverage, sports and entertainment.
1.The conference area includes two multi-functional halls covering an area of 880 m2 and 703 m2 respectively, 20 conference rooms in different size ranging from 40–240 m2, which are equipped with modern devices for simultaneous translation and stereos, as well as broadband connection.
2.Food and beverage area has 4 Chinese and Western cuisine restaurants, which provide different flavored dishes and specialties featuring Sichuan, Shandong, Anhui, Guangdong and Hangzhou cuisines, as well as European foods. They could receive 800-1000 guests at one time;.
3.Sports and entertainment area has golf course, swimming stadium, tennis court, bridge club, 12-crease bowling rooms, squash court, deluxe cinema, table tennis room, billiard hall, fitting room, KTV singing room, dancing hall, fishing area, beauty saloon, sauna and massage rooms.
4.Shopping center and business center, etc.
