On June 21, ADAMA announced its in-house production of Indoxacarb—a key insecticide active ingredient (AI)–using a new proprietary synthesis process at its production facilities in Israel and India, providing a building block for ADAMA’s differentiated product formulations.
Indoxacarb is a key active ingredient for various insecticides from ADAMA. The main crops that benefit from Indoxacarb protection are soybeans, pulse crops, vegetables and cotton. Indoxacarb also has various uses in consumer and professional solutions markets. Producing this complex molecule with an innovative, cost-effective process is expected to improve ADAMA’s supply chain performance and increase its access to the global market. ADAMA has launched numerous unique mixtures and formulations based on Indoxacarb, delivering significant pest control to a variety of countries.
ADAMA is targeting more than 15 countries with its self-produced Indoxacarb, including the leading markets of Brazil, India and the USA.
